St. Cloud, clear of interference, given a good ride and showing a liking for the going, wore down Little Wanda with ease in the last furlong and won going away like a good colt. Little Wanda broke running and showed line speed, but tired near the end, yet ran a good race and will Improve. Miss Custls, a good looker, was given an easy ride and, more vigorously handled, would have been second. Blacklock ran green and will improve. Blackwell closed a big gap from a poor beginning. Start good. Won easily; second the same. Colonist ran in greatly improved form and, although badly ridden and losing much ground on the turns, finished fast, was best and won drawing away. Dollnda forced the early running and, after wearing down Aralio, seemed a certain winner, but tired badly near the end. Arabo showed suddenly improved speed and hung on with more gamencss than usual. Nine ran a good race in going he seemingly dislikes and will improve. Flavlgny quit badly after going three-quarters. Bravery did not run to his true roriu and was poorly ridden. Brilliant, given a good ride, made up a big gap steadily, wore down Wring Line lu the stretch run and won a well-merited victory. Firing Line,, probably best, showed much speed to the stretch, where he was taken wide and at a critical moment his rider lost his whip, his mount slowing up perceptibly when not punished. Athena was ridden hard all the way and closed a big gap. O. G. Parke ran a fairly good race and Fairbury a dull one. Ravlana ran well to the stretch and tired. Lee King was never a serious factor.
