Little George bad to work his way up on lhe outside, came fast when straightened out and, fighting it out sturdily with Arthur RoseiitieM, outgained the latter in the final drive. Arthur Rosentield saved ground all the ivay and showed the most early speed, hut tiled under punishment. Black Flag ran in improved Toim. covered a lot of unnecessary ground and Is worth remembering. Tryon ran a good race and finished well. Signal Light closed a big gap and tired from the effort. Leila Hunter went well. Cambridge was unlucky. The latter raced Little Red into subjection in the first half and his race was a smalt one. Little Red showed a good turn of speed, but failed to last the route. Grosgrain ran tlie best race of all, was crowded to the fence on the first turn and all but fell., The interference cost him a half dozen lengths. Bisque went well..
