WAUGH LIKES DUSTY MILLER BEST. "The other evening," says Audax, in Horse and Hound, "I had the pleasure of going round the Kingsclcre stable and seeing the horses now under the able charge of Willie Waugh, who told me, by the way, that from all he knew of her, Klncscm must have been a mare of remarkable excellence, and also the best horse he trained when in Hungary, and a real good one to boot, was Fenek. To turn to Kingsclcre racers, however, I dont fancy that any of the older animals are likely to do much good, and certainly Flying Foxs brother, Plplstrello, does not please me to the same extent as he .did this time last year; nor do I care much for the two-year-old brother, Flying Leap; in fact. Dusty Miller, a brother to Rydal Head, attracts me by far the most of .any of the Duke of Westminsters two-year-olds. The undoubted pick of the stable to look iit, however, as regards the youngsters, is St. Martin, and Lord Falniouth owns a colt that ought to develop in a clinker. Best of the Duke of Portlands two-year-olds I like Target."
