Beau Brum-mel broke well and went right to tlie leaders, raced along with Tom Morgan and carried tlie latter at a clip that made him tire in tlie last sixteenth and was going away at the end. Tom Morgan ran well and had to stand a hard drive to last long enough to beat Mclntyre. The latter Is improving right along with racing, lost ground by making a wide turn into tlie homestretch and then swerved over to the inside in the last sixteenth, but finished with a rush. Cliamblet was outrun all the way. Prophetess showed Improvement. Tom Morgan bolted for the fence at tlie chute at the head of the stretch while on Ids way to the post and fell over a fence. AV. Lieutenant Uice got away tangled up and trailed in the early stages, but closed a big gap in the last half and, finishing fast, the race should just atiout fit him.
