Ida Kearney showed extreme peed and sprinted away from the others in the first qtrirtcr and would undoubtedly have won had Ronianelli given her a breathing spell. Miss Jordan, off tangled up, was forced to go around on the outside to get up, went very wide on the turn into the homestretch and finished with a rush. Hill Lassie finished fast. Creel overhauled Delphie on the turn into the homestretch and easily disposed of her in the last eighth. Delphie followed the winner strenuously for three-quarters and tired in the stretch. Chiearra broke in motion and showed speed for Pix furlongs. Mary Worth was used np in racing with the last named. Bon Mot outbroke the others and set a fast pace, but was on the inside for the entire trip and finished in the deep going. Rellindian, under a terrific drive and forced out to the limit, just managed to last long enough to stall off Colonel White. The latter dropped back in the first half, but finished with a rush.
