C. WILLIAMS IS UNDER SUSPENSION. San Francisco. Cal., March 8, C. Williams was suspended for ills ride on Follow Me In the fourth race at Oakland today. Following so closely his erratic exhibition on Byronerdale yesterday, the stewards were forced to take action. Pecuniary results were generally unsatisfactory despite the procession of winning favorites and second choices. Outside of the Callaghan race, the horses engaged were of the worst class, and the public lacked confidence in the ability of the choices offered by the layers to bring home the money at such meagre odds. J. Guthrie arrived at Oakland today with Tim Hurst, Mai Lower?-. Ellin King, Golden Buck, Interlude. Merwan and Nerska. J. Pelters two. Golden Light and Sun Mark were Included In the stable.
