NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockey Prior is making plans to ride at the New York tracks this year. Sam Doggctt, it Is said, lias a trio of smart two-year-olds for the spring campaign. It Is expected that about six cars of horses will leave the New York tracks for Bennlngs next week. Alex Shields has shipped the horses of E. R. Thomas from Bound Brook farm to the Jamaica track. James Mara has secured the release of his son from W. S. Daly and tiie youngster will ride under the direction of lils...father. A. S. Post has leen asked to serve, again as presiding judge at Toronto. For ihe past sixteen years Judge Post has officiated at the Woodbine meetings. " It was announced at Baltimore a day "or two ago that C. R. Ellisons divorced wife was married at Milwaukee, Wis., in December to Joseph C. Smith, liii actor. Solly M. and Sun tip are a pair of youngsters in James McLaughlins barn that are on the tabs of the work watchers at Gravesend. They are going to Bennlngs.
