Hclmuth closed a big gap and ran a good race after making a rather slow beginning. Wabash Queen rati a fairly good race, is wortli remembering and is probably best on a fast track. Schroeders Midway was off well in motion, went well and had no mishaps. Miss Nothing and Apprise were practically left at the post. Kings Gem, after being carefully rated for a half, wore down Monis in the stretch run and won with plenty In reserve. Gotowin came fast in the stretch and took second dace without much effort from the tiring Monis. The latter showed the most early speed, but tired badly in the stretch. Attraction bolted ou the turn for home and was eased up. Pirates Dance ran well. Skyte closed a gap. Overweights Gotowiu, 2 pounds; Attraction. 3t; Irene Brady. 2j.
