PHILLIPS BUYS YEARLINGS FOR COOK. Lexington, Ky., June 21. Major T. J. Carson. Baker and Gentry, Geoorge C. Graddy, T. B. Jones and John Barbee shipped their yearlings east today to be sold at Sheepshead Bay. Senator J. W. Bailey and Clay Brothers will ship Saturday. Clarence II. Mackey has concluded not to sell his fillies. He will reserve them for the stud. William Phillips bought of Milton Young for Fred Cook the. yearling colt by Lamplighter Johnetta, a colt by Sempronius, a colt by Cesarion and a colt by Pirate of. Penzance; from Dr. J. C. Carrlok a colt by Ben Strome Marie Sbanklin, and from E. L. Davis a colt by Bathamptoii.
