Neodesha, well ridden and showing a liking for the stiff going, forced the early running and, drawing away in the stretch, won easing up. Eular had a rough trip and closed a big gap in the last quarter. Cambridge ran a good race and finished fast. Mae Lynch was going well at the end. Intcr-llglit showed speed, but quit badly in the last quarter. Tom Chance showed good speed for the first half and nearly went down while rounding the lower turn through stepping in a hole. John Kaufman, badly outrun In the early stages, came with a tremendous rush in the last quarter .ami got. up in time for second place. Belle Scott was ridden with poor judgment, set the early pace and was taken up afier going a quarter, lost ground by going wide and tired in the final drive. Bedford took a long lead from the start and, despite tiring fast in the final furlong, only succumbed by the narrowest of margins. Ara ran a fairly good race only. The latter outfenced and outran her opponents until at the hurdle In the stretch, where she tired badly. Dunning had no mishaps and ran a fairly good race only. Montalhan also ran a good, game race and was gaining on the winner at the end. Charley Mitchell ran In improved form and followed close up in the early running, finished fast and seems a stayer. Bedrice showed speed, but tired badly in the stretch. Friendship was going well at the end. Frown rd closed a big gap from a poor lieginning. Fonsoluca was in the deepest going for the first three-quarters and was taken wide into the stretch, but finished going fast. Matador showed the most early speed, but was made much use of and tired after going three-quarters. Little Elkin came fast from a poor beginning. Mr. Farnum tired in the last furlong. .Tuba can do much better.
