HOWARD AVERY LOSES AN ARM. New York, June 22. Howard Avery, the young horseman who fell under a trolley car on Staten Island, through the breaking of a running board, while the first Belmont Park meeting was in progress, Is out of the hospital. Avery lost his right arm as a result of the accident. That member was so badly crushed under the wheels of the trolley car it had to be amputated close to the shoulder. His recovery has been remarkably quick and satisfactory. Mr. Avery is the owner of lha fast, but not very game maiden Arietta.
