SAYLOR TO BECOME A JUMPER. New York, June 22. John E. Madden has sold the three-year-old Saylor to Thomas Hitchcock, Jr. .Mr. Hitchcock will Immediately begin to school his liorse for the jumps and Saylor may be one of his starters next fall at Belmont Park in the Harbor Hill Cup Steeplechase. Saylor is a chestnut or rugged build and fair size by Ogden, the Futurity winner of 1S90, out of Ilithya. He has a fine turn of speed and Mr. Hitchcock . may try to win a maiden race on the flat with hiin before putting him permanently to jumping.
