Incantation showed the most speed throughout, biit bore out in the stretch and, Interfering with Ginette, was disqualified. Glnette wore Incantation down while rounding the turn into the homestretch, where she eiime to the outside, caught Incantation at the sixteenth post and was gaining at the finish. Royal AVindow was outrun for the first half, but came fast in the last furlong and easily disposed of Tickle. The latter was used up in keeping pace with the leaders. Avaunteer ran poorly. The latter finished with a rush and wearing the winner down. Moccasin set a fast pace, but tired under punishment. J. R. Laughrey ran forwardly throughout and is a good looker worth remembering. Hyperion was rated in behind Head Dance until making the turn into the homestretch, where he moved up and took cotnniand and was well in hand all through the last sixteenth. Head Dance set the pace for the first six furlongs, but was tiring at the end and was forced to stand a hard drive all through the last furlong to outlast Thistle Do. The latter got tangled up in the barrier at the start and lost a lot of ground, finished with 11 rush and might have won but for the mishap. Dixie Andrews ran well. The Borgian can do better. The latter, as usual, finished with a rush after trailing far back in the early running. Celebration also finished fast and shook off the others in the last furlong. Nonsense was messed about all the way and swerved over to the inside in deep going in the stretch. Monacodor quit and can do better. Olive Leaf showed speed today and ran in much improved form over her last race and finished gamely under a drive. Daytime raced fonvardly throughout and easily disposed of the others. Itoniiield outbroke his opponents, but immediately dropped out of active contention. Richard Jr. went well. Ladv Stewart closed a big gap. Romping Girl showed speed.
