Prince of Orange was well rated to the three-eighths post, then took the lead, but was riditen out to stall off the challenge of Bon Vivant. The latter was away well, but fell back, then came fast through the stretch. Flip showed speed and Improvement and held on better than usual. Tanbark was shiIMd hack at the start and took the long way around. Azele was not persevered with and can do better. Charley Ward got off poorly, closed a gap too quickly and tired. Comic Opera, shuttled back at the start, had to go around his opponents and, finishing fast, was wearing the winner down at the end and would have won in another stride. Dan McKonna closed a gap and finished gamely. Singing Master showed speed. Comic Oiera bumped Into George P. McXear at the start and he was knocked to his knees and sulked all the way. Scotch Plume ran a good race, but tired. Reservation finished fast. La Iucelle quit badly in the stretch. Gold Enamel ran well for three-quarters only. The latter showed the most early speed, raced Elksino into exhaustion and hung on gamely, although tiring. Triumphant had a rough journey and had to go around on the outside to get Into a contending position, then tired. Eminola ran to her best form. POKQO SIXTH RACE 1 1-4 Miles. 2:00 1105. Brand New trailed well back for a mile, then moved up and, finishing fast through the stretch, won going away. George Vivian caught Ezra tiring In the hist quarter and outgamed him for second place. Ezra, suddenly improved, set the pace for over a mile and finished resolutely. Redwood II. showed speed, hut tired. Arab showed speed for three-quarters only, then quit. The rest were always outrun. Scratched 63550 Chamblee, 107. Overweights Ezra, 2 pounds.
