Runnels was under restraint for the entire trip, showed plenty of speed and, looking good, has evidently rounded to again. Moutebank was much used in following the pace set by the winner and tired under punishment. Pronta finished with a rush and would have been second in another stride. Stray tired in the last furlong, but showed much early speed. Solly M. was outrun at all stages. Percentage was cut ofC on the turn out of the backstretch and dropped out of contention. Brait moved up fast on the far turn, but tired under a drive in the last furlong. Tanager was much used In racing Scotia Belle into defeat and did not run his race. Scotia Belle was speedy, but tired In the htretch.
