I NOT AMENABLE TO CITY ORDINANCE. Louisville, Ky., July 18. Dan Reynolds Is the manager of a poolroom Just outside of the limits of the city of Louisville. Last Saturday eighteen warrants were sworn out against him, charglug a violation of the poolroom ordinance of this city. The warrants were sworn in the name of the Com- monwealth of Kentucky. Yesterday Judge McCann dismissed the cases, holding that an offense against a city ordinance was not necessarily an offense against the Commonwealth and that Inasmuch as the poolroom Is outside of the city Reynolds is not amenable to the city ordinance.
