BRAND NEW PULLS UP LAME. Buffalo, N. Y., July 25. Five of the six races at Fort Erie today were selling affairs, but the contests were keen and exciting. Two favorites and four well backed second choices won. Wing Ting, thought to have the second race at her mercy, went to the post sore and during the race could not raise a respectable gallop. Brand New pulled up lame and it will be a long time before the son of The Commoner will race again.
