JOCKEY MAHERS GOOD SEASON. Jockey Maber is having about his best season in England. Of his riding, the London Sportsman of July 20, says: "D. Mailer lias now won the Eclipse Stakes three times, his previous successes hnvingliccn secured by the aid of Cheers and Darley Dale, two of the worst horses that ever won the mammoth stake. The present bids fair to be known as Mailers year, as amongst other great races the famous American horseman has carried off the Keiupton Jubilee Stakes, Woodcote Slakes, The Derby, Oaks, Manchester Cup, and Ascot Gold Cup."
