II., .Cincinnati, O. The bet was a draw because of the price stipulation. H. M. G., St. Louis, Mo. The straight bet on Golf Ball lost. The place bet was a draw for the reason that no separate place price was laid. J. R. I., Chicago. Your place bet on the Kecne entry in the Brighton Junior Stakes was a draw, there being no place price laid against the entry. Otto P., Chicago. None of the horses inquired about has been raced since the winter meeting at New Orleans and we have no knowledge of their present location. Frank S., St.. Louis, Mo. Your bet on Devout was a draw. The bookmaker should not have taken it knowing Devout was not entered and the whole transaction should lie considered void.
