MAINTENONS PRIX DU MONARQUE. - Paris, July 31. W. K. Vanderhllts Main tenon Sunday won the race for the Prix du Monarque, at .2,000 metres. He gave from ten to fifteen pounds to all his competitors, but won easily by a length and a half In 2:05. Gouglou was second and Querldo third. Narvaoz got away next the rail, but Maln-tenou soon took the lead. At a mile all Malntenons competitors were under the whip to keep up and he won in a gallop.
