Edna Jackson, fresh and good, outbroke, outpaced and outstayed the others, winning all the way, but driving hard at the end. Rusk broke In the rear and raced up to the leader with miraculous speed, kept alongside gamely and persistently and ran a cracking race. Hosted, luckily and forwardly placed from the start, finished going fastest of all. Teacress steadily improved her position and finished cUkv up and going like a shot. Lord of the Forest was outrun early, but finished well. Fustian came from the rear in the stretch and closed considerable ground from an Indifferent send-off. Robin Hood dropped to the rear on the far turn, was minus blinkers and sulked. Belligerent showed superior speed for five fiulongs. WoodsaW had 110 chance. Goldfleur was a forward contender thronghout and showed wonderfully Improved form. Kassll, reserved for the first mile, moved up rapidly on the backstretch, but finished a tiring third. Grandpa trailed far In the rear division and closed up very gamely In the last half, was under the whip for a mile and Is In bad form. Alfar ran unexpectedly well. Phil May was In forward contention for a mile and a half well In hand and suddenly tired as If short. Coligny was unable to raise a respectable gallop. Fallaheen, fresh and good, went a very speedy mile, but Is a non-stayer. Ilylas could not keep up and had a rough early journey. Desert Chief was very unruly and had no chance with a bad rider, ran uuder a choking pull on the extreme outside and finally fell at the Liverpool In the last circuit. Peter Pan was rushed into the lead and set a stiff pace and, when straightened for home, appeared an easy winner, but was challenged and momentarily passed when a furlong out by Electioneer, than came again under punishment and got up In the last stride. Electioneer began slowly, but moved up like a flash on the last turn, where he bolted to the ontslde, came on fast when straightened and headed the leader, but tired under a poor finish and was boring out, but was much the best today. Arelte maintained a forward position In the early running and finished with a tremendous stretcli sprint. Blnoudo, away poorly, closed up steadily and finished a close fourth. Itosemount showed brilliant speed for five furlongs, but was tirlug at the end. Aletheuo essayed to keep pace with Peter Pan and tireil after going half the journey. Marathon, away badly, closed a big gap and was going fast at the end. Golf Ball also displayed brilliant early speed, but failed to stay. Scratched 3917Don Enrique, 117. Won easily; second the same; third driving. Dandelion was In close pursuit of the leaders for a tulle, then moved into the lead In the stretch and won as Ids rider pleased. Tangle leisurely maintained a good position within striking distance for a mile, then moved up and took an easy second place behind her stable mate and is a grand filly. Gallavant made the running for seven furlongs, then dropped back suddenly and unexpectedly came again at the end. Red Leaf, away slowly, closed up steadily and finished like a cyclone In a superior effort. The Picket, aft.er trailing far in the rear, as usual, closed an immense gap in the last half and is very good. Wes went well for six furlongs, but failed to stay. Runnels jumped Into the lead at the start and, showing great speed, won all the way never fully extended. Lancastrian got up for second place In a sensational stretch sprint and showed remarkable form. Sir Russell was in close and persistent pursuit of the winner throughout and ran a game race. Woolwich went very wide on the first turn, loomed up inenacingly on the far turn and tired in the closjng drive under a poor ride. Sir Ralph, shut off at the start, made up some ground and was an easing up fifth. Luckett showed speed. Waterbury, from a flying start, ran lapped on the winner almost throughout, swerving Into defeat In the stretch. Vaquero ran forwardly from the -start and was going like a shot at " the end. Smiling Tom, a slow beginner and hemmed in for the first half, finished with a belated rush. Rockstone ran green, was nearly left and closed a big gap, finished an easing up sixth and is a coming crackerjack. Ironton showed superior earlv speed and was easing up at the end.
