Babe B., away running and clear of interference, showed improved form and much speed, led unextended for the first three-quarters, tired slightly thereafter and impeded Orllne sharply in the final drive, but won with something left. Orline ran a good race and was going fast at the end. Inspector Girl tired after going three-quarters, but ran a good race. Minnehaha ran forwardly from the start and showed improved form. Oberon had a rough trip. Moccasin Maid closed a big gap. Alma Gardla, away poorly, ran a bad race and can do much better. Leo Bright, also away badly, showed scant early speed. Two Bells, away running and clear of Interference, assumed the lead when called on and won as her rider pleased. Princess Marie was a forward contender from the start and put up a good effort. Orlandwiek closed a. big gap and finished going fast. Bon Vivant went wide Into the stretch and, although tiring,-seemed to have finished third. Ionic ran In improved form, but tired near the end. Family Talk ran a fairly good race. Tom Morgan had scant chance with a ioor ride. Yellow Top ran out most of the way. Zena was green. Wee Lass was speedy, but was excessively used for the first five furlongs and in the final drive Preston fumbled his lines and nearly fell off. White Plume ran a good race arid was going fast at the finish. Toupee quit after going a good half. Matador ran below his last previous effort. Miltlades was almost thrown soon after the start. Class Leader ran In much Improved form and, showing much the most sieed, maintained It well and won oil the way with plenty In reserve. Dalesman, badly ridden, was restrained for the first turn of the field, hut tired in the final drive. Billy Wake ran out at the first jump and wan taken back into the course md finished a beaten off third. Profitable was going well when he ran out and was also taken back into the course and finished. Harefoot bled when he appeared to have third place at his mercy. Solon was a forward contender when he ran out at the third jump, has worked well and is a good fencer. Free Booter, hard ridden all the way and forced wide by Elastic In the stretch run, showed fine speed, stood a hard drive gamely and outstayed the others.. Elastic forced a fast pace in the early stages and but for bumping into Free Booter repeatedly would have won. The Thrall developed superior speed, was clear of interference and saved ground all the way, but tired slightly near the end. Uncle Henry lacked speed, hut after saving ground when turning Into the stretch, finished going well. Llghtburn ran a good race and, better handled, would have been a more dangerous factor. Royal Legend, away running, showed the most speed for the first three-quarters, but tired thereafter. Bernle Cramer, poorly handled and suffering from interference, ran a good race. The Laurel, away badly, was much used in racing Into a contending position and tired near the end. The last three at the start were practically left at the post.
