Rothgeli followed the early running closely, stood a hard drive gamely in the stretch and came away in the final strides. Bushthorpe closed a big gap from a poor beginning and finished with a rush. Moutalban showed early speed and assumed a long lead in the stretch, but tired near the end. Jessamy made up ground and was gaining fast at the end. Sir Mincemeat ran well to the stretch and tired badly as if thort. Senator Warner was away in a tangle, but lacked speed and can do better. Newt Fisher and Sir Geoffrey ran bad races. Toboggan was practically left at the post and had to go all around, but gained steadily and, wearing the others down in the stretch, won going away. J. P. Mayberry also closed a big gap from a poor beginning and, finishing fast, outlasted Fargo. The latter ran a good race, but tired in the final drive. Specdmaker had a rough trip and was a prominent contender most of the way. Lady Ethel was poorly handled, had scant chance and can do better. Rossessa tired fast after going a half. Nona W. broke fully in motion and showed the most early speed, but tired on the stretch turn and bore out badly in the final quarter. Scratched 64015 Easy Street, 11. Overweights Myrrh, 2 pounds. Lacene was away well and restrained to the stretch turn, where she came fast when called on strongly and won going away. Oasis ran a good race and wore down the leaders after going a half, but tired in the final drive. Butinskie was a sharp contender most of the way and, after being apparently soundly beaten, came again and outlasted Red Thistle in the final drive. Miss Anxious quit badly after go!ng a half. The latter seemingly would not extend himself early, but finished well. Dr. Heard ran a good race for a first out In a long time and will improve. Mc-Intyre ran a good race and stood a hard drive gamely, but was not good enough to beat the winner-Lady Vlmont ran in suddenly improved form, closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Bonaventure, poorly handled, ran close up in the early running, but tired near the end. Froward got away ina tangle and ran below her true form. Edwin T. Inspector Girl, hard ridden after going a quarter, maintained her speed, well, but was not good enough to beat the winner. Mae Lynch began slowly, but came fast after going a half and was an easy third. Dudley showed speed for the first half and tired badly.
