-LADY SAVOY ENCOURAGES HER TRAINER. Will McDauicl, the trainer of Lady Savoy .Twore a smile of satisfaction after the Gerst filly won her race at -Gravesend Monday. "I think she .is coining back to her old-time form," he said to a New York reporter. "She was one of the most promising two-year-olds I ever saw, and in the early part of her three-year-old season started out as if she was going to fulfill that promise. But she became, ill along about July of that year, and we thought we were going to lose her. She pulled through, however, but hasnt been the same since. Her races this year were very "unsatisfactory, but lately her work has picked up like everything, and her race this afternoon was more like her old-time performances."
