MAHER RANKS FIRST ON PERCENTAGE. Danny Maher continues to win races In England with gratifying regularity. He has made the remarkable percentage of 28.51 so far this season, leading Higgs, the next most successful jockey, by more than 7 per cent. Higgs has had about 250 more mounts than Maher, and has scored less than thirty more wins. Maher has been in the money in more than 60 per cent, of his races.
