NO CHANCE FOR MATCH RACE. New York, October 1. Irlooks now as If there is no further chance for a mutch race between Boseben and Lady Amelia. In the first place It is said that the Lady Amelia people have cold feet, while It is also asserted that the Westchester Racing Association, following the policy of the Jockey Club, will not make a move to foster such turf events. In fact, It Is generally understood that the Jockey Club made It plain to P.. J. Dwyer, when the match was called off on Thursday, that it would be advisable to let the matter drop then and there. Match races have never been looked upon with favor by the Jockey Club, so that all further chances for a meeting between Boseben aud Lady Amelia appear to be of no account.
