Toots Mook outclased the others and was well in hand for the entire trip. Cicely began slowly and was outrun for the first half, but came through on the inside on the turn into the homestretch and. finishing with- a rush, outgamed Reside in the final drive. The latter was cut off on the turn out of thu backstretch and made a determined effort at the furlong post, but was thing at the end. Peter Paul ran away two miles after the race. Entre Vous was eased up in the last sixteenth after running well tu midway of the stretch. Elkshio outbroke her opponents, got away running and sprinted into a winning lead in the first furlong, but was tiring at the end and had to be hard ridden to stall off Nioless. Hogg was unable to keep the latter straight and she swerved acrdbs from the outside to the inside rail at the sixteenth post. Miss Martha did her best, was outrun all the way and has evidently trained off. Fire Alarm ran a winning race from where he got off. Vera Vickers showed "speed and was eased up in the last sixteenth. Gold Run went to the front without much effort arid cantered in the lead, all the way, is a good fencer and likes good. Stiff jumps. Frank Somers did his best and was hard lidden all of the last half. Sam Parmer made a bad lauding at the seventh jump and Captain Hayes collided with him, both unseating their riders. AAabash Queen began slowly and closed a big gap, worked her way up on the outside and, finishing fast under a drive, won going away at the cud. Enilnola raced Kirkfield Belle into defeat in the first half mile, but was tiring at the end and had nothing left when the winner challenged. Lucy" Marie dropped back in the first quarter, but finished gamely under a drive and can do much better. Charley "AVard tired after going three furlongs. Merry George broke from the extreme outside and had to go all around the others to get to the front, set a fast pace and raced Plantagenet into defeat in the first six furlongs, but was tiring at the end and driving to the limit to stall off Little Red. The latter was cut off at the start and crowded back, but closed a big gap and. running much the best race of all, was wearing the winner down at the end. Miss Gaiety tired in the final drive after racing forwardly throughout. Plantagenet ran a good three-quarters and tiled. Frank Collins began slowly, but closed a big gap and just managed to get up iu time to beat Canajoharie. The latter was tiring at the end after getting off well and saving ground all the way. Father Catchem showed the most early speed, but tired in the last furlong and was eased up. Broadway Girl finished fast. Nervator ran well to the stretch. Hanthorne was away well and, ruunlng close tip to the stretch, finished fast and outgamed Osslneke in the final drive. Ossiueke sat a fast pace and tired in the last furlong, but finished gamely. Operator ran in a good position all the way and finished resolutely, but was not good enough to catch the leaders. Goodman ran well. Sea Voyage had a rough trip. Birmingham was crowded back at the start and was never dangerous. Collision showed early speed, but quit in the final eighth.
