Martin Wins the Steeplechase. New York, October 1. The Brighton Beach Racing Association provided a splendid card for the opening day of its October meeting. The two sec-, tions of the rich Produce Stakes of 0,000 for two-year-old colts and two-year-old fillies respectively, were won by Electioneer and Court Dress. Both races produced brilliant contests with the result In doubt almost to the closing strides. In the colt race De Mund the favorite, carried a fortune In wagers as did McCarter, the second choice.
