Start good. Won handily; second driving; third the same. Judith Louise, away well and running to her best form, was a close contender from the start and, after taking the lead in the stretch, won with plenty in reserve. Hereafter showed improved form and stayed well in the final drive. Refined gained steadily and, finishing with a rush, would have been second in a few more strides. Malta tired in the stretch drive. Alyth was going gamely at the finish. Bonart ran a dull race and lacked speed. Scratched 64850 Avendow, 99. Won easily; second driving; third the sam?. Hadur, showing improved form, away well and given a good ride, was sent into a long lead from the start and won all the way witli plenty in reserve. Inspector Girl was a sharp factor all the way, but was not good enough to beat the winner today. Minnehaha closed a big gap from a poor beginning and finished going fast. Heart of Hyacinth had to overcome Interference .and finished fast through the stretch. Suzanne showed speed, but was tiring fastin the last quarter. Dudley ran poorly " and can do much better. Miss Officious, away well and showing much speed, followed the leaders close tip to the stretch, wore down Lightning Conductor in the final furlong and won going away. Lightning Conductor had no mishaps and tired slightly near the end of a good race. Fair Fagot suffered from Interference anil also ran a good race. Captain Hale came with a good burs; of speed in the last quarter and .will improve. Eleciorine tired fast after going five furlongs. Elancer showed the most early speed, but tired as if short and will improve. Light. Wool got off poorly and closed a big gap. Scratched C50S43Caper, 99. Incorrect weight in entries Elancer, SS. Gold-mate had scant chance after the start, was away in a tangle and suffered from Interference. Fontotoc, also away poorly, ran fairly well and is rounding into good form. Clifton Forge, lucky in escaping interference, was a forward contender from the start and finished fast. Revolt came from a long way back in the last half and showed improved form. Ingolthrlft was in a jam almost for the entire trip and came vlth a rush when clear of interference. Optional ran fairly well and will Improve. Royal Legend ran powly and can do much better. The latter, probably best, was poorly handled In the early stages and made much use of, causing him to tire near the end after seemingly being the winner. Lazell had no mishaps and ran a good race. Postman had a rough trip and closed a big gap in the race through the stretch. Captain Bush sutlered from interference and can do better. Scratched 05075 .Tuba, 102.
