Won easily; second and third driving, lluandk, from a lucky start, ranged alongside of the pacemaker and passed him right at the end, drawing cut fast and favored by the soft going. Alencon forced a stiff pace to the final sixteenth, vhere he tired slightly. Teacress broke slowly, but steadily improved her position and outstayed Miss Ogden for third place. Miss Ogden, after being shufiied back at the half, closed up fast and was just nosed out for third place. Brush Up tired after early, close pursuit of the pacemakers. Azelina, out of place in sprints, was gaining at the end and is very good. Chieftain failed, to stay. Overweights Noatromo, 3 pounds. A ; .. ... Lotus Is In wonderful form, far outclasssd the others, won all the way and only cantered the journey. Bertha E., shut off early and messed about, closed up like a flash when, with clear -saiijug itt the last quarter. Edna Jackson is very good and was carefully nursed into an easy -third; but tired in the soft going and can do better. Keator, away very badly, closed a big early gap and seemed to have a chance on the list turn, but quit badly in the strotch. Right and True showed speed, but quit early. Jacobite, on the inside and shut off by the leaders and forced to pull, up; then came on rapidly and bumped his way into the lead in the stretch, was" winning easily and going over to the rail, when Roseben pulled up suddenly, was nipped in the last stride aud disqualified for alleged fouling of Roseben, The latter set the pace to the stretch, where he tired badly and was beaten when beginning the last furlong, pulling up sharply at the end. Halifax showed brilliant early speed, but failed to stay and got in the way and repeatedly interfered with his stable companion.
