Beldemo was off flying arid showed the most speed, but, carried the others wide on the home turn and was shaken up at the end to stall off Daisy Frost. The latter is a fairly good filly, ran her race today and had no mishaps. Black Flag ran well, lint tired in the final drive. Emlnola finished with a rush. Soprano, off poorly, made up, ground fast, only to be shut off on the home turn and her race should be thrown out. Scratched 05409 Gold Note, 104; 05402s Nellie Racine, 101. Blue Coat showed sudden and marked improvement, was always in forward contention and finished in yarne , fashion under a hard drive. Cadlchon stood a long drive resolutely and would have wou in a few .more strides. Baby Willie ran a good raef., had no mishaps and held on well at the end. Chalfonte was outrun early, but closed up fast In the stretch. Quadrille broke fast and showed the most early Tipeed, but tired in the stretch and was eased up when beaten. The Saracen was right there at the end. Auncta Lady ran a very bnd race and can beat such horses. Captain Hayes is in the best of form, fenced well, handled his weight in excellent fashion and finished resolutely. Allegiance put up a good performance and would have won with a capable rider up. Cambyes improved suddenly, got off slowly, but worked his way up gradually on the outside and caught Millstone tiring at the end. Millstone followed Regal Lad closely and tired right at the end when he appeared the winner. Regal Lad showed the most early speed, but tired badly in the stretch.
