CARMAN CLAIMS MDANIELS SERVICES. New Orleans, La., December 1. It. P. Carman, of New York, who has a stable of horses at Los Angeles in charge or James Blute, claims to have first call on the services of jockey It. McDaniel He tiled a statement of his claims with Judge Hamilton at Ascot Park, which has been forwarded to the officials at the Pair Grounds. Dave McDaniel, father of the jockey, says Caiman misunderstands the agreement. He claims that Carman was told Hiat if it was decided that young McDaniel should go to Ascot Park Carman could have first call on his services. He elected to ride here. The local officials have taken no action in the matter. It will probably be regarded as a closed incident.
