Airship, probably best today, si Offered from ranch interference and being frequently bumped into br Kohlnoor, but finished gamely and wokld have won with clear sailing. Kohlnoor showed the most early speed and held on well. Bill Phillips ran poorly and can do much better. The others were never serious factors. Charlie Eastman was well handled and forced a fast pace from the start, wore down Fantastic in the last furloug and held Meadowbreeze safe in the final drive. The latter ran in improved form, finished fast and had no mishaps. Fantastic showed a good order of speed and tired after going a half, but held on resolutely. Toboggan ran below his best form and had no mishaps. De Oro ran a fairly good race, as also did Lucky Mose. Overweights Fantastic, 1 pound; Toboggan, lj; Mortiboy, 1. Dr. Spruill was well handled and saved in the early stages, moved up fast when called on and won as his rider pleased. Hannibal Bev raced Old Stone into subjection in the first three-quarters, but the effort caused him to tire near the end. The Englishman, hard ridden all the way, closed a big gap and got up in the final stride for third place. Auditor, poorly handled, was taken far back in the early stages and ran u fast middle half, but tired badly in the final drive. Old Stone quit badly in the last quarter after t-howiug much speed. . Glamor is a fast filly, raced with and disposed of Colloquy after going a quarter and was never afterwards under pressure. Colloquy about ran her race and was tiring at the end. Royal Breeze responded well to uunishment and was gaining fast in the last quarter. Morales, practically left, closed a big gap and finished fast. Bitter .Miss ran fairly well. Sir Toddington was well up in the early stages and quit badly when hard urged. Is only ordinary and much overrated. Scratched 053.rM Cora Price, 110. Odd Ella ran to her best form, moved up steadily from a poor beginning, stood a hard stretch drive resolutely and outstayed Henry Watterson in the final drive. The latter was much the best, but was oft poorly and suffered from interference throughout. Matador ran well and had no mishaps. Orient came from a long way back and ran a good race. Bitter Brown tired fast after going three-quarters. Israelite pulled up lame. Cut Glass ran a good five furlongs before tiring. Scratched G507O Foreigner, 100; 65G74 Conde, 95; 595722Lampadrome, 102. Glen Gallant had no mishaps and only ran fairly well. Margaret M. was poorly handled and can do better. Sir Walter Rollins quit badly in the last quarter. Overweights Wild Indian, 4 pounds.
