MOOKSIES LOCKPORT STEEPLECHASE. Kenilworth Feature Somewhat of a Farce Close Finishes Cause Dissatisfaction. Buffalo, N. Y., July S. Four of the races At Kenilworth this afternoon furnished driving finishes nnd the official placing in two of them met disapproval from some of the spectators. The howlers were unreasonable in their view of the placing in both Instances. In the fifth race Topsy Robinson ; i , a i J , and Pcnrhyn finished so close that it was impossible for any one but those on the direct line to separate them and as to Cnnojiian there 5s no question but what he won. The I.ockport Steeplechase Handicap, over the two mile course, was the feature. Like the last few previous jumping races, this proved little better than farce, half of the field coming to grief during the running, while Dawson, which finished third, wits beaten off fifty lengths. Mooksie won in a canter by seven lengths from Dulcian. Knoliliainpton and Rock Storm both fell heavily. Pcniberton had the mount on Rock Storm, got a nasty fall and was carried to the German Hospital in an unconscious condition.
