Snakewood got off well, but was outrun to the stretch turn, where he was taken to the outside and, finishing witli a rush under punishment, was gcing away at the end. Gloryar, made too much use of in racing witli Shindy and setting a fast pace, tired under punishment. Jennies Beau finished with a great burst of speed and outgamed Dominant in the final drive. The latter ran a good race and finished resolutely. Shlmlv ran well to the stretch and tired. Gaga finished close up. Sansamou, after being outrun for the first three furlongs, came to the outside on the stretch turn and elosed up on the leaders with a rush, but was under a drive all through the last furlong to retain her advantage. Thomas Calhoun, very poorly ridden, would have won easily had McCarthy taken him to the outside at the furlong post, was interfered with and cut off a couple of times on the backstretch and again In the homestretch. Bounding Elk, on the inside, saved ground on every turn, but tired in the final drive. Wild Cherry ran well. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. The latter, on the outside of the leaders all the way, finished gamely and would have won in another stride. Ida Reck showed the most early speed, but was tiring and doing her best to stall off Jacinth at the end. Tlie latter ran well and finished gamely. Dairy Maid closed a big gap. Fiat showed speed. Peter Knight elosed a big gap and finished fast. Posing ran a good race, but tired in the stretch. Lady Gay Spanker went well. Betsy Binford failed to stay. The winner, entered for 1907.sh00. was bid up to 00 and bougit In.
