Bitter Gold ran a good race and was gaining steadily in the last quarter. Gratiot only ran fairly well. Uneasy closed a big gap from si poor beginning. Cloyne, also showing a good performance, was right there all the way and finished with a rush. Joe Moser showed a superior flight of early speed, but tired fast after going half a mile. Honest had no mishaps. Ada O. Walker was prominent in the early running. Ordono was away too slowly to cut much figure in the result.
