CHULITA WINS CINCINNATI TROPHY. Labolcl Filly Is Shipped Back to Buffalo Immediately After Her Victory. Cincinnati, ., July SI. A. S. Labolds Chulita scored an easy victory in the Cincinnati Trophy at Latoula this afternoon. When Joe Moser and Honest tired under the tremendous early pace, she passed them without apparent effort and finished first by three lengths. W. J. Youngs Moquette, which was coupled with Chulita in the betting, was outrun all the way and was not a contender. The start was perfect and the race devoid of serious bumping anil crowding. R. C. Rami performed creditably as did also Cloyne. These two were both in the front division from barrier rise and free from interference. Mr. Labold also received in addition to the ,090 first money, a handsome silver cup, the gift of Hon. Julius Fleischmann. Chulita and Moquette came here front Kenilworth Tor this one race and were shipped back to Buffalo tonight. Chulita will fill her engagement in the Mohawk Stakes, to be nut there Thursday. She is a good sized, very bloodlikc and racy looking lilly. Her performance at Hot Springs impressed Mr. Labold so much that be purchased her front 1. T. Morris and determined to try for the Cincinnati Trophy with her. The victory was a popular one as was "shown in the hearty applause that greeted Chulita and Nicol when they returned to the judges stand. Nicols fee was 00 and he had a wager of ,000 on his mount. Goldproof at present is in ills best racing form and he had slight difficulty in wearing down the speedy Colloquy after going five furlongs, to win by a comfortable margin. Old Honesty surprised every one by his good 1 performance in the mile and sixteenth race when i he won handily front Moiislgnor and The Clansman. D. Austin permitted The Clansman -to interfere with Old Honesty, and was suspended for one week. Jockey T. Taylor was suspended Indefinitely for his bad ride on Barnsdale in the second race. Oak Grove, at a long price, won, while 1 Barnsdale finished back in the- ruck. Another long-prleed horse to win was Monnchord in the fifth race. There was considerable interference in tills race. Miss Hawley was crowded into the fence and J. . Butlers leg was badly bruised. J. W. Russwurm, secretary of the Tennessee ; Breeders Association, was among todays visitors. Many of his two-year-olds, including Manchester, are on the ailing list. .Manchester is suffering from n skin disease somewhat t similar to that which caused the death of Sysonby. ,
