The Highland Park Clubs meeting of twenty-live days at Windsor closed today. In point of attendance and prolit to the club it was the most successful ever held at the track across the border. The best horses here will be shipped to Fort Erie during the coming week to await the opening of the meeting there July 22. Secretary Parmer is unable to give stable room to all applicants, but will use liis best judgment in the effort to provide quarters and occupation for the horde which must otherwise remain idle. No horse that is not in racing condition will be given a stall at Fort Krie. - The track today was lumpy and alowr bnt-thft races were keenly contested. The feature of the card was the third, in which the- top-notchers at the track at a mile and a sixteenth met. It was meant as a try-out for those eligible to the Canadian Derby, to be run at Fort Krie the lirst day of the meeting. Fantastic Mrs. Goldblatts good filly, scored a lucky victory. Charlie Gilbert was best, but just as he seemed to have the race well in hand, his jockey, J. Kelly, attempted to draw the finish tine and Fantastic, vigorously ridden by Holand, came up on the outside and nipped him at the llnish. Favorites and second choices in all of the events scored with the exception of the lirst, Taunt being tlie longest priced horse to win. Etrcna, backed from 0 to 1 to .1 to 2 in the last nice, through the good riding of Holand, managed to get up in time to win by a nose from Pungent.
