Taunt ran close up until the far turn was reached, then Wore down the lead of Theodocia, raced the l."tter into defeat, drew away in the stretch and won eased up. Joe Fallert, in forward contention all the war, weakened in the final strides. Reveille gradually Improved bis position and finished fast. Flying Plover was reserved from the early pace, but was alwaysclose up, moved up after beginning the second turn of the field, easily passed St. Enoch and, drawingfaway, won cantering. St. Enoch, easily brsl of the others, had no contention for second place. Bank IIOlKlay was as easily third after Goldenway lost his rider at the tenth jump. The others were never contenders. Fantastic ran forwarder all the way and, after being cut off on the stretch turn,, went to the outside and, in a hard rtrive, nipped out Charlie Gilbert in the final stride. Charlie Gilbert appeared an easv winner when a sixteenth from home and his rider began to ease him up and so lost the race. Kelpie set the early pace, but tired badly in the final drive and just lasted long enough to save third place from Jaconw. Start good. Won easily; second and third driving. Doc Kyle followed the pacemaker closely, saved ground on the turn for home, raced Awawegang into defeat and drew away in the closing strides. Awawegang set the nace and raced Lady Henrietta into defeat, but bad nothing left when challenged by the winner. Bon Mot came from a long way back and finished -fast. Consideration tired. Bazil raced Haltou into early defeat, withstood the game challenge of The Globe and won drawing clear The Globe saved ground by a close turn, while the leaders went wide into the stretch and finished gamely.
