FLEMING WINS BUFFALO FEATURE. Lori. Boanerges the Best Horse Cobmosa Defeats Right Royal a Nose. Buffalo, N. Y., July 13. The race for the International Handicap, the feature race at Kenilwortb this afternoon, proved easy for Fleming, heavily backed by a party of wise ring operators. On public performances Lord Boanerges, with Ampedo out of the way, appeared to outclass the others. Lord Boanerges was ridden by McDaniel and when the start came this fast horse was outfooted by Haw-kama and before the half mile post was reached he was last. Hounding the far turn lie went to the leaders witli a rush and just before entering the homestretch showed in front, but he quit suddenly and from there to the finish lie fell back gradually. McDaniel turned his head loose and kept waving his whip, but ne-er once struck the horse with it. The tabled history of the International Handicap is: Year. Winner. A. Wt. Jockey. Val. Cobmosa showed a great stretch run in the fifth race. He finished with a line burst of speed through the last furlong and just managed to get up in time to beat Right Royal out a nose. . Jockey Musgrave left the hospital this morning where he lias been confined since liis accident and was at the track this afternoon. Edward Whelan will ship his string to Fort Erie Tuesday. The Seagram string -will be sent to Saratoga. The Thomas stable arrived at Fort Eric tills morning and jockey Shilling was at Kenilwortb this afternoon. He secured several engagements for Monday. Jockey Englander left for New York tonight. II. T. Grillin shipped the filly Dixon Belle back-to New York. She left with Eugene. Waykinds horses.
