Barbary Belle broke slowly, but steadily improved her position, circled the others on the outside on the mm and got up finally In a whirlwind end sprint. Halifax quickly drew out into a long lead and appeared like spreadeagling his opponents, but tired at the end after excessive early use. Haensel, on the Inside, tlatfooted and away very badly, closed an immense gap, just failed to get up in a remarkable race and was much the best. Crackenthorpe closed an early gap into forward contention in the middle running, but freed in the closing drive. Cressina was forced to the outside and just able to hold her position under pressure and is out of place in sprints. Kings Daughter showed brilliant early speed and tired after strenuous early pursuit of Halifax. Royal Vane was prominent to the stretch, then dropped out badly beaten. Gentian finished well. Jubilee vell up from the start, elosed up rapidly on the outside on the turn and, in a cyclonic finish, got up in the last stride. Rosimiro broke slowly and established a good lead with a great burst of early spend, held sway to the last stride before he succumbed and is improving. Tartar Maid, away poorly. Hosed up steadily and finished with a rush. AVoodlaue, after close pursuit of the pacemaker, tired Anally :is if stale and had no mlshaus. Miss Delaney ran forwardly to the last sixteenth, where she was crowded and forced to pull up. Alex Grant showed superior speed, to the stretch, where he was also pocketed and forced to pull up, was given a bad ride and Is promising. Master Robert, after beiug shuttled back repeatedly, was closing up at the end. Polar Star was hopelessly outpaced. Clements, after trailing for half the journey, finished unexpectedly fast and ran an extra good race. Yada dropped back on the far turn and closed up much ground in the last half. Bail News was luckily placed and reserved for six furlongs, then moved up and challenged when straightened for home, drawing away finally under a vigorous finish. Pretension, from a striding start, set the pace to the stretch, where lie swerved into defeat under a bad ride. Moonshine, shuttled back early, gradually closed up on the inside at the half, but was pocketed, pulled up and messed about generally and failed to get up at the end, but was easily second best. Acrobat, after close and strenuous pursuit of 1 ho pacemaker for six furlongs, tired badly and interfered with Moonshine. Hyperion II. was prominent for the first half, but retired early and ran a bad race. Red Friar was hopelessly outpaced all the way. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. Please, from a good start, was skillfully reserved in behind the pacemakers to the last turn, where she unexpectedly drew up and came away in the stretch with a rush. Servile outbroke the others, was hurried along and never given a moments respite, tired finally and was easily passed by the winner. Biskra, well up from the start, finished fast under a weak ride. All Alone ran lapped on the pacemaker on the inside in a strenuous effort to head him and succumbed at the end of three furlongs. Brnvoure, away poorly, elosed a big gap. Bonton also finished well. Abbey, prominent to the stretch, retired as if short. Lancashire Lad, shuttled to the rear, made up ground in the last half. The winner was entered for ,400; no bid. Easton, excessively urged to dispose of the pacemaker, Ecatarina, tired himself finally and was unlucky to lose. Muck Rake ran in a prominent position throughout and outstayed the tiring Ecatarina for third place. The latter,-excessively urged to hold the lead, raced herself into exhaustion, quit and swerved all over the stretch. Sam Rice, away badly, closed up steadily, making up much ground on the leaders. Bluestone. nearly left, also Hosed a big gap. This race was a procession and the horses were strung out a sixteenth of a mile in the first half.
