AMERICUS GOES BACK TO IRELAND. Richard Croker has got Americus back from Home and the horse has arrived safely at the Glcncairn Stud in Ireland. The fifteen-year-old son of Emperor of Norfolk and Clara I, by Glenelg had splendid speed when lie raced in this country as Hey del Caredes. and so have some of his stock in England and Ireland, hut so far none of them appears able to slay. Illinois, file best animal Americus has so far sired, which unfortunately broke a leg at exercise at Epsom in May and had to be destroyed, was, however, confidently expected to stay the Hoyal Hunt Cup course, and also win the race this year, but for his untoward accident.
