Priceless Jewel, showing greatly improved form, set a fast pace from the start, increased her lead at every stride, finally won pulled up and is probably more than useful. Lady Sichel got oil" well and followed the winner gamely, but was outclassed. John P. Bergen closed a gap steadily and, in a fast stretcii effort, almost got up for second place. La Sorella II., from a poor start, quickly closed up into prominence, but tired in the final drive. New Garter ran fairly well only, as also did Miss Adkinson. The others were always outrun. From a good start Minos followed Coltness closely to the stretch, then passed the latter with a rush and Dually won off and pulling up. Punky was close up from the start and liuished fast. Kemp Ridgeley was prominent in the early running, but was bumped and knocked back on the far turn, then came again and got up for third place in a game effort. Coltness showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch drive and probably was short. Berryman closed a big gap, as also did Dr. J. F. Ailken. Bert T. hhowed :.peed, but quit badly. Onatas was saved in the early running and came fast in the homestretch. Shenandoah ran fairly well, but tired and can do much better. Bonnie Reg showed early speed.
