MR. CHRISTIE THE NEW DIRECTOR. Toronto, Out.. September .".At a meeting of the directors of the Ontario Jockey Club, Mr. R. J. Christie was elected to 1111 the vacancy on the board. Mr. Christie Is the son of the late William Christie, who was also a director of the Ontario Jockey Club, and succeeded his father as the head of Christie. Rrown and Co. He is one of Torontos foremost citizens, a warm supporter of athletics, and takes a great interest In horse breeding.
