Oroba, off forward ly, was kept on the inside for the entire trip ami saved ground on every turn, came through next to the rail when entering the homestretch while the others went wide and gained n couple of lengths by the move. .Tavotte was taken wide on the far turn, carried to the outside when entering the homestretch and tired in the last furlong under punishment. Gaga outbroke his opponent a and showed much speed for three furlongs, then tired. Hantry Bay was green, at the barrier and broke slowly. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. First Mason dashed to the front at the start and opened a big lead in the first furlong, maintained a fast pace all the way and was eased up to a canter at the end. Kxcitement was outpaced all the way and did not run to his true form and bad to stand a hard drive in the last sixteenth to stall off Nellie Burn. Hob Murphy was outrun in the early stages, but moved up while going the second time around and took the lead when John G. Cavanagh tired, then fought it out gallantly under punishment and outstayed lallycastle in the final drive. Rallycastle struck the ninth jump and almost unseated his rider, then closed up gamely when .going to the last jump, but tired in the last sixteenth. John G. Cavanagh showed much early speed, but unit after going a mile and a quarter. The Chef fell at the eleventh jump, but was remounted and finished the course. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Lewis, a quick breaker, dashed to the front at the start and, setting a fast pace, raced Mnu-heliner into defeat in the lirst three furlongs and then drew away to win cantering. Uncle Toby, a alow beginner, was outrun for the first quarter, but finished with a great stretch run and was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Louis Roederer. The latter closed a big gap and was gaining on the leaders at the end. Manhciiner ran on the inside in deep going all the way and tired badly in the stretch. Tenancy by Courtesy ran poorly. Donna Mobile began slowly, but caught Penline in the lirst furlong and took the lead and opened a bl? gap, was well in hand when turning into the homestretch, but had to be hard ridden at the end to stait off the rush of Dredger. The latter, off none too well, made up ground and finished with a great rush. Altar Boy came fast on the outside in the stretch and ran a good race. Penline showed the moet speed for three furlongs, then quit badly. Gold Quartz ran fairly well only. Suderman tired. The latter broke slowly, but moved up when entering the homestretch, where he came through on the inside, was jthen pinched off at the sixteenth post and was pulled up and came to the outside and closed up again at the end. Aubiichou claimed foul, but it was not allpwed. . Jack Kercheville made a good effort on the last turn, but tired under a drive. The others were always outpaced.
