Ie Reszke opened at 0 to 1, and closed at 7 to 1 in Hamiltons sixth race Saturday. The so-called "ticker odds" are not ticker or actual odds at all. but are issued and the advertisement or them paid for by a combination, which often reduces its losses by reducing the prices against backed horses. Your remedy is not to place bets at ticker prices. Daily Racing Forms prices are track and actual prices.
