WINDSOR MEETING OPENS SATURDAY. Detroit, Mich., October 1. It is announced hero that the coming meeting at the AVindsor track will run nineteen days, from Saturday, October 5 to Saturday, October 2G. inclusive. During tb meeting four stakes, each worth ,000 will be run. They, and their dates of running, are: Ontario Selling Stakes, 1 1-8 miles, October 5. Autumn Handicap, 1 mile, October 12. Ferry Handicap. 5 1-2 furlongs, October 10. Kelle Isle Handicap, 3-4 mile, October 19. The stakes have attracted the best horses racing at Hamilton and other points on the Northern Circuit and the meeting promises to be a good one.
