Orcagna, from a slow inside start, steadily improved his position into a fast coming second. Gl.iucus forced the early pace, but tired badly at the end of three furlongs. Lotus Brandt was outpaced by the leaders, but kept on well and finished a game fourth. Bigot ran as if short and showed superior early speed. Brother Jonathan, away very badly, closed a big gap and is. promising. Proclivity made up Kioinid from a poor start. Black Domino was crowded back on the far turn. Judge Post was ridden apathetically and finished an easy second. St. Nick was very green In the early stages, but closed up rapidly, at the end and is promising. Vervane was prominent for half the journey. Sandy Creek er fell at the first jump and is a "supposed good one. All of the contestants showed lack of schooling. Rje, taken up on the first turn, moved up on the inside at the half and was securely pocketed after-awards and given a bad ride. Phil Finch, away badly closed a big gap and made a cyclonic finish. Schrocdfirs Midway made up much ground in the last hnlf. Consistent failed to stay, but showed speed. Gieen Seal ran a bad race, showed brief early speed, then quit badly and can do much better. Park Row developed superior speed for six furlongs. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. Ballot made the running, but was closely pressed every foot of the journey and eventually gave wav aiid failed to stay. Ironsides kept well up for six furlongs and then droppedback, held on well in the lat half, but had no chance. Senator Barrett, from a flying start, made the running for six furlongs and succumbed. Sir Galahad had a rough journey and was well up throughout. Tommy Ahearn, nearly left and shuffled to the rear early, closed up again with a rifsh. Dixon Belle is wortii remembering and made a superior effort. Goshen Chief, from a lucky start, was messed about in the second quarter, hut loomed up menacingly in the last half and is promising. Senipro, away poorly, closed up ground steadily into a fast going fourth. Pendillion ran prominently throughout and was gaining at the end. Gentleman showed superior early speed, but failed t stay.
