HICKORY HAS RUN HIS LAST RACE. II. B. Rurycas three-year-old colt, Hickory, by Ben Stromi! The Ilumber, died last Friday. Being n full-brother to the good marc. Belle Strome, Mr. Duryea gave .,900 for him at the sale of the Dlxlana yearlings in 1905, and expected great things from him, expectations which were not realized. As a two-year-old lie started in eight races and was only placed once. That was when he ran third to Ballot and Okenite for the colts and geldings half of the Matron Stakes at Belmont Park. This year he won a purse for maidens at Graveseud, was second to Peter Pan in the Tidal Stakes at Sheeps-hoad Bay, defeating Paumonok, Arcite and Oran.
