Won easily; second driving: third the same, l-neasy was a prominent contender hi the early stages, moved up fast on the stretch turn and came away to win as his rider pleased. Brakespeare, from a slow beginning, closed a big gap and ran a winning nice. Edna Motter had no mishaps, ran well and tired near the end. Silver Cup, shuttled back soon after tile start, came fast through the stretch, only to tire in the last few strides. Uncle Tim was right ther most of the way and but for going wide into the stretch would have been second. Maria quit after going a half. Agnes Ford showed a good Hash of speed. Dr. Spruill dashed Into a long lead at once and won all the way, well in hand. Imbodcn had a rough trip in the early stages, but closed a big gap and finished gamely. Uncle Henry showed improved form and was a forward contender for three-ipiarters before tiring. Komoka, poorly ridden, was allowed to drop back in the early running and then closed considerable ground and will Improve. Docile, a distant trailer in -the early stages, came with a rush in the last half. Little Elkin also showed good form aud should make good on a muddy track. Fay, showing a high order of speed, forced a fast pace in the early stages and, taking a clear lead 011 the stretch turn, won as her rider pleased. Dainty Belle, in close quarters for the first half, came fast when clear and finished with a rush. Red Queen, going wide most of the way, was bearing out in the last six teenth, but got up in the closing strides for third place. No Quarter, shuttled back soon after the start, raced up to the leaders, but tired near the end. Hose of Pink showed speed for a quarter before teiiig crowded back and was not persevered with thereafter, can do much better and is worth remembering. Bert Osra, Stoner Hill aud Barnsdale quit after being prominent for a half. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 70525Jersey Lady, 111; G4223 Rower, 102. Stelzar, from a slow beginning, gradually gained on the others and, wearing Tackle down in the last furlong, won drawing clear. Tackle broke fast, showed inuch speed and appeared a certain winner in the stretch after wearing Lute Foster down, but tired in the last sixteenth and is probably a non-stayer. Allow Swift ran and good "race and was going well at the end. Merrifle.ld was In close quarters most of the way and Is in good form. Adrian will soon make good and put up a good performance today. Ansonl-i ran fairly well. Ed Kane can do much better. Mackerel seems to be of little account at present. Lata Foster showed speed to the stretch and quit. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Coiloquv, in grand form, set a stiff pace from the start and led by a good margin for the first live furlongs, then tired slightly, but held on well to the finish. Lens began slowly, but gained steadily and, although going wide into the stretch, finished with great speed and was wecring tlie winner down slowly. Miss Sain ran a good race and was a forward contender from the start. Boserrian tired near the end and pulled up bleeding from a bad cut ou one-of his ltiud legs. Frontenac was never a serious factor. Stanler Fay ran poorly. Royal Breeze was kicked while at the post and sustained severe injury, which caused him to bo a distant trailer all the way. Hazel-thorpe forced or set a stiff pace all the way, raced Heine into subjection and, standing the linal drive gamelv, ran a good race. Heine was right there for live furlongs before tiring. Zelina was gaining steadily throughout. Lightning Conductor acted badly at tiie post and interfered sharply with Hannibal Bey in the stretch. Hannibal Bey had a rough trip and was knocked about frequently. There was much jamming all the way. The winner was entered for 000; no bid. The latter closed a big gap and but for going wide into the stretcli would have been second. Il-ncli Nun quit badly after going well for three-quarters. Stroud was in constant trouble and can do letter. Camille trailed far back and, with strong riding, would have been much closer up. Warning ran poorly and Ben Trovato far below expectations.
